Riverwalk
Kennel is a small Labrador Retriever breeding kennel, located in
southwest Wisconsin along the Mississippi River, 45 miles south of the
Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area in Minnesota. We specialize
in producing puppies that have been selectively bred for the best
possible genetics, intelligence, good looks, great temperaments and
strong hunting background. All parents have been certified by OFA
and CERF. Many of our puppies have become great family/hunting
companions, hunt and field trial competitors.  Some are now serving
the country as drug and bomb detection dogs.
We are a family owned "dog
home". The mothers of our pups have the run of the house and
are very much a part of the family all the time. Our pups are born
and raised in our home and are socialized with tender loving care from
the day they're born. Before they go to their new homes at 7
weeks, they are made aware of the human voice for directions such as
"go potty" and "kennel". Retrieving is a part
of their playtime, so they learn to carry things in their mouths.
Our pups are checked by a veterinarian and receive their first puppy
shot before leaving for their new home.
We encourage all who purchase our pups to
stay in touch and we offer support and advice throughout the dog's
life.  We welcome visits back to our home to see the pups as they
grow and, if that isn't possible, at least we like to keep in touch
through e-mails and pictures.
We
welcome all potential Labrador Retriever buyers to become
well-acquainted with us and our dogs. As you will surely have
questions for us, we will have questions for you. This exchange is
important to us. You have high expectations for getting a quality
puppy and we set very high expectations for you as owners of our
